At a mountain-type cabin, friends/acquaintances. Cold outside, I had sort of a snowsuit on. Was kinda nice out, went for a walk and then got into some deeper snow as we went along. I realized that I didn't have good shoes for the snow, and decided to turn back to the cabin. They told me there were plenty of shoes to choose from, just pick whatever works. I was back to the cabin, but it was almost dark. I thought as long as it took me to get back, there was no way I would make it back to meet them before it was fully dark. So I looked around at all the shoes, and then went out back and there was a puppy outside. I picked it up and brought it inside. It seemed just in time as there was a mountain lion that had its eye on him. I started to play with the puppy and was glad that I was able to get him and not the mountain lion. I was content staying at the cabin and not going back out.
