Dream/Waiting At The Cottage/9-10-25/Kelly

Setting was a lush outdoor area. The feeling was an old and new combined, but everyone in the dream those I know and don’t know all felt younger than now. Yet, it was just the physical not with the removal of experience or knowledge to this point.

I’m standing in front of a cottage like area, where there was a dirt road leading into a court in front. There were large weeping willow style trees, but some vines hanging down with flowers. The foliage was full and lush, had a mystical element and feel to it. The air fresh, crisp and an overall joyous atmosphere. There was outside garden furniture, metal style, where a group of people were gathered waiting together. I sensed we were waiting for Melody to arrive; it was like a retreat but with more people and there were males and females. Although I felt younger, 30’ish, most of whom was waiting seemed more 20’ish. This cottage wasn’t a destination, but the ronde Vue point. One of the young men, that was there stood out a little. He had a backpack and was holding his blanket and pillow but seemed sort of on the feminine/immature side. I took a second to determine what that was about, and then decided now wasn’t the time and I didn’t want to go there.

I was suddenly inside an unfamiliar home; I think this was inside the cottage. I was looking for someone and I found Jill. She was working very diligently to complete some things, and was excited and energized to do it. Happy to be almost done. She was in sort of a larger pantry with a glass window door. I couldn’t see exactly what she was doing, but didn’t want to bug her. I began looking around at the details of the home, because there was something to it and I’d never been to Jill's house. I noticed the solid wood cabinets in the kitchen, and the solid wood trim around doors and baseboards. Then it was as if I’m watching an old movie/slideshow. It was showing me all the work Jill had done on this house. I then understood that this is a new place she acquired, I felt like it was from someone I knew before. Maybe and old boss (I didn’t get along with him and some of my worst experiences with a person was from him, but he was more now like how he was towards the end of our interaction…better). I sensed the house needed some work and was unfinished in parts, and that is what Jill was diligently trying to complete. Like she wanted to be finished before we left.

Part of the movie/slideshow I remember of Jill fixing her house. There was a conduit with electrical wire coming into the house she had started to expose through dry wall and insulation. It’s not common to have conduit on the inside with the electrical, and it seemed it had grounded out or something. But she was doing what needed to be done to repair it. She did the remodel and the house looked fantastic. I liked the white walls with the darker/mahogany colored solid wood trim, cabinets and doors. It wasn’t a huge place, but it was perfect for her and cozy. I was happy for her that she was about to complete her remodel and it would be a time to enjoy it. I went back outside and looked out at the dirt court and trees and continued to wait.

Now that I’m writing the dream down, I feel like the young man waiting with blanket and pillow, could be a younger version of my old boss. I do remember Darla was not there, but I sensed she was preparing something, maybe at our destination.
